How we do Gutter Guards Installation
✅ 1. Choose the Right Type of Gutter Guard
There are several types of gutter guards. Choose based on your roof type, budget, and local environment.

Gutter guards (pre-measured)
Gloves and eye protection
Ladder (with stabilizer if possible)
Screwdriver or drill
Tin snips or utility knife (if cutting is needed)
Screws or clips (usually included)
Hose (for cleaning or testing water flow)
🧽 3. Clean the Gutters First
Remove leaves, twigs, and debris from the gutters by hand or using a gutter scoop.
Flush with a hose to clear any blockages.
Check for damage or sagging and make repairs before installing guards.
🔧 4. Install the Gutter Guards
For Screen or Micro-Mesh Guards:
Measure and cut the guards to fit your gutters.
Position the guard over the gutter, under the roof shingles or with clips depending on the model.
Secure the guard using screws or clips as recommended.
Overlap sections slightly so debris can’t sneak through the gaps.
For Foam Inserts:
Simply cut to size and insert inside the gutter.
Make sure it fits snugly and doesn’t block water flow.
For Brush Guards:
Cut to length and lay them directly inside the gutter.
Ensure they extend end-to-end with no large gaps.

Spray water on the roof with a hose to ensure water flows freely through the guards into the gutter and downspouts.
Make sure no water overflows from the edge.

Can a razor or steel wool damage my windows?
No, this process is completely safe on glass and it does not leave any scratches.
Do I have to be home?
If we are cleaning your exterior windows only, you do not need to be home for the visit. Many of our customers are busy, and this makes the job way more convenient. When we have completed the job, we will leave a door hanger that outlines what we did for you, and an invoice will be emailed to you. When you’ve had a chance to evaluate the work, and you are happy with what you’ve received, you can square up with our office.
Do I have to pay in advance?
No. We want you to be happy with the work that you receive and we do not ask for a deposit or prepayment.
How high of windows can you clean? Mine are REALLY high.
We have a 36’ latter that can reach roughly 4 stories in the air. Past that, we do have a 65’ man lift which can reach all windows on a 6 story building. No matter how high in the air your window are, we have the right tools, training and experience to get the job done safely and efficiently!
